Q. What exactly does Sigma6 HR Benefits do?
A. Sigma6 HR provides outsourced and virtual human resources (HR) to companies with less than 100 employees. We’re human resource professionals that eliminate the hassles and headaches of employment. We provide the same services as an HR Department in a large corporation. Probably even better!! We handle the hiring process, onboarding, employee benefits, policy procedures, compensation analysis, disciplinary actions, termination, unemployment and workman’s compensation, OSHA Logs and mediation. We also write proprietary employee handbooks and advise employers on the most recent court and government agency decisions involving employment issues.

 

Q. Do you provide any work-related forms or documents?
A. Absolutely. We have more than 30 forms and documents for the exclusive use of our clients. These are proprietary documents and cover a wide range of personnel issues and our available on our Sigma6 HR Client login on our website.

 

Q. Does Sigma6 HR provide any other services?
A. Sigma6 HR can provide your company with group benefits, such as health, dental, vision, term life, short- and long-term disability.  (And, if you have an employee that turns 65, or is retiring at 65, or with a disability, we can provide a Medicare supplement or Medicare Advantage plan).

 

Q. Where does Sigma6 HR provide services?
A. Our main office is in Louisville, KY. We have client employees i in every state, except California (Life’s too short!)  Our clients are located in the following states and cities:
KENTUCKY: Louisville, Lexington, Covington, Newport, Elizabethtown, Bowling Green, Scottsville, Carrollton, Somerset, Campbellsville, Campbellsburg, Hopkinsville, Ashland, Owensboro.

TENNESSEE: Nashville, Hendersonville, Louden, Knoxville, Kingsport.

Q. How much do your HR services cost?
A. Absolutely not! We charge a small one-time set up fee, than all service fees are based on your employee size. There are never any other charges, except for a minimal one-time new hire fee.

 

Q. How much do your group insurance services cost?
A. Nothing. Any compensation for insurance services is provided by the carrier. Your company is NOT required to use our insurance services if you choose not to, but if you do, you will receive a discount off your HR service fees.

 

Q. How often will my company be invoiced?
A.
Once a month.

 

Q. Are there any long-term contracts to sign?
A. No. Our service agreement is month-to-month, with only 30 days’ notice.

Q. How long has Sigma6 HR been in business?
A. We have been in the human resource business since 1995. In fact, we are the first outsourced HR Department in the Southeastern United States.

 

Q. Do you provide payroll services?
A. No. Payroll is a completely different issue. Payroll is accounting and data processing, whereas human Resources (HR), is policy and procedures. Payroll services that “offer” HR services, are only providing HRIS only, and not a full suite of human resources (HR) services as described on FAQ #1.
